Order and Shipping
Q: Where do you ship?ntly asked question
We currently ship across Australia and to select international countries. Shipping options and costs are calculated at checkout.
Q: How long does it take to process and ship my order?
Please allow 3–5 business days for us to prepare and pack your order. Once it’s shipped, we’ll send you tracking info so you can follow its journey.
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and secure payment gateways available at checkout.
Q: Do you offer gift wrapping?
Absolutely. All orders come thoughtfully wrapped, but if it’s for a gift, leave us a note at checkout—we’ll add a handwritten card and extra love, free of charge.
Q: Do you offer gift cards?
Not yet—but we’re working on it! If you’d like to give a BIE 189 gift in the meantime, email us and we’ll create a custom solution for you.

Every piece is a creative experiment—handmade, designed from scratch, and never duplicated. We don’t follow templates. Each item is a story of its ow

Yes! Every item is handcrafted by our small family team. You might notice small quirks or irregularities—that’s part of the charm of handmade work.
Q: How do I care for my bag?
Our bags are easy to clean—machine washable on a gentle cycle or spot clean, depending on your preference. We include a care card with each order for specifics based on the materials used.
Q: Are your bags durable?
Definitely. We balance creative design with real-world use. Our bags are strong, functional, and ready for everyday adventures.
Q: Can I request a custom colour or design?
We take on a few custom projects when possible. Email us at hello@bie189collective.com to discuss your idea and see if we can bring it to life.
Brand Values
Q: What does “BIE 189 Collective” mean?
“BIE” comes from our family name. “189” is our childhood house number—where the magic all began. “Collective” represents our shared journey as siblings and creators.
Q: What are your brand values?
We believe in creativity without waste, craftsmanship with purpose, and honouring our Filipino roots and Australian Values through storytelling and design. Every piece reflects this.
Q: Are your materials ethically sourced?
Yes. We carefully select a mix of rescued, surplus, and new materials—always with intention. Whether reclaimed or newly sourced, we prioritize ethical suppliers, quality craftsmanship, and materials that align with our values. It’s our way of creating responsibly while keeping our creative freedom wide open.
Q: Do you restock items once they sell out?
Not exactly. Each piece is one-of-a-kind, but we may create similar styles using the same design concept or materials. While we don’t mass-produce or make exact copies, we occasionally offer limited recreations through pre-order. If you missed something you loved, feel free to reach out—we might be able to make something just for you.
